Training, Sourcing and Sales of Elite Dressage Horses

Maria is an FEI Dressage rider, trainer and competitor, who has had a successful competition career in North America (US and Canada) and now in the Netherlands. She has earned numerous USDF Horse Of The Year Awards, State, Regional and National Championship awards through to the FEI levels, up to and including FEI Intermediare II. She achieved this on horses of various breeds that she trained herself. Maria has trained multiple horses from the beginning to Grand Prix level and it is her goal to represent the USA in international competition in the future.

Riding and dressage have been her main focus for her entire life. Horses and dressage are not just a job for her; they are a way of life. Maria specialises in starting and training young horses through the levels to Grand Prix, backing young horses, working with “problem” horses, promoting stallions and young dressage horses, test riding sales horses in the Netherlands for American clients, and preparing horses for sale.

For the future, Maria hopes to continue to create a competent stable of horses in training, as well as servicing her international client base with their horse search. She is an established test rider for multiple riders around the world who engage her to try a horse they wish to purchase. Maria will try the horse and provide comprehensive feedback on the horse whilst assessing if it fits the needs of her buyers.

Located in Veldhoven, close to Valkenswaard and Eindhoven in the heart of the Netherlands horse country, not far from the German and Belgian borders, Maria offers riding and training horses of all ages and levels, from starting horses under saddle to competing at the highest level, taking horses in training to be sold, test riding sales horses for clients, acting as a “matchmaker” and pairing clients and horses with their perfect new dance partner.
